Book nowOur adventure begins at the end of 2013, when stealing weekends from the city life to work the land, until finally reaching a true “country life”, with the opening the “Agriturismo” in 2015. One of the first things that let us fall in love with this place is living the countryside at four steps from the sea, enjoying a wonderful view of the Gulf of Monterosso.
Located in the heart of Cinque Terre National Park, Il Brucaolivo is an ideal starting point for excursions along many footpaths that cross it, through lemon and olive trees, terraced vineyards and even caves, coves, rocks and small beaches, all in a disorder of perfect harmony.
Wonderful are the sunsets by the “Semaforo”, an old abandoned lighthouse on the peak of Punta Mesco, that marks the end of Cinque Terre Land.
Monterosso is the only of the five towns to have 2 beautiful beaches, among which the famous Fegina beach, located in the new part of Monterosso and reachable with a 25 minutes walk from Il Brucaolivo.
In front of this beach you can take the train to reach in a few minutes the other countries of Cinque Terre, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, or even Portofino (1 hour), Genova (1.30 hour), Lucca (1.30/2 hours), Pisa (1.30 hour)
All products are grown in accordance with the rules of organic farming.
There are 300 olive trees in the property, from which we produce oil, a DOC vineyard (Bosco, Vermentino, Albarola), who’s grapes we sell to Walter de Batté, famous winemaker from Riomaggiore, waiting to be able to make our winery where we can produce a good genuine wine with all the care and love that this precious drink requires!
Seasonal vegetables from our garden and fresh fruits, can directly be picked up from the tree, or be tasted in home-made jams. Also, you can savour very good home-made liquors made with lemons and oranges… and not only…
Fresch eggs by our hens, joining the farm since October 2015.
In the morning you will wake up with perfume of freshly baked bread, made by us with sourdough.
